Samsung is working to bridge the gap between its hardware and software to offer an improved gaming experience. by introducing its Samsung Gaming Hub to its 2022 range consisting of monitors, smart TVs and smart screens.
Gaming streaming content that is available on the hub include Xbox, NVIDIA GeForce Now, Google Stadia and Utomik as well as applications YouTube as well as Spotify. Twitch is also available as well as Amazon Luna will be available in the near future.
The company has begun rolling out their gaming hub for Samsung TVs, including those in 2022. Neo QLED 8, Neo QLED 4K as well as the 2022 Monitor Series.
The non-official Twitch.TV application was taken off Samsung televisions with smart functions in the year 2019 and the announcement is the official app’s debut available on the platform.
The Amazon Luna cloud-based gaming platform has been running to users of Fire TVs as of March and this new partnership with Samsung could provide the fledgling gaming platform the chance to expand its reach to more users.
The Microsoft’s Xbox TV app is the most significant addition to the Xbox TV app because it’s only available to Samsung Gaming Hub. Samsung Gaming Hub and provides access to Xbox Cloud Gaming.

The announcement was made during the 2022 Consumer Electronics Show), the Samsung Gaming Hub gives consumers the ability to play on the most popular cloud gaming services via their smart TVs -and no PC or console is required.
Smart TVs are a an alternative for dedicated gaming equipment. Samsung believes that offering a complete platform for console and cloud games will draw gamers who value the convenience of their gaming.
“The Samsung Gaming Hub combines Samsung’s leadership in streaming technology with our experience in creating the industry’s most cutting-edge hardware, removing the barriers to entry so people can just play,” Won-Jin Lee is director of the president and Service Business Team at Samsung Electronics announced in an announcement. “With expanding partnerships across leading game streaming services and expert-curated recommendations, players will be able to easily browse and discover games from the widest selection available, regardless of platform.”
Game consoles with dedicated gaming controllers are able to use Samsung’s support of controller inputs that pass through to smart TVs, which allows them to utilize only one controller instead connecting multiple controllers. This way, users can utilize controllers and Bluetooth devices and headsets that they already own across applications and devices.
Samsung Gaming Hub users will also be able to access game suggestions, news about gaming and tutorials, just like they do play on an actual gaming console.
